THE B HIVE DAYCARE was established as a private institution of early learning and development where young children of all backgrounds, races, and ethnic heritages could learn and grow together. Our team is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment in a family like atmosphere. We believe that children are the future and our most valuable and precious legacy.

We aim to inspire and nurture a lifelong love of learning and creativity by providing a thoughtful, nurturing environment. Children are supported in an environment that fosters creativity, independence, self respect, dignity, and social confidence in a dynamic setting that is respectful of each child’s needs and individuality.

The B Hive Daycare grew out of our sister business, Artistique Playschool, which opened in 2016 as part of Artistique Gymnastics Club. I created the playschool because I couldn’t find the kind of program I wanted for my own children while balancing a demanding career. Leaving that career allowed me to pursue a vision for early learning that supported both children and working families.
As our playschool grew, it became clear that families needed more than part‑time care. In 2021 we began planning a full daycare, and by June 2022 our south location opened to 30 families. A year later, we expanded to the north side of Lacombe near Burman University, welcoming 80 more families into a bright, nature‑rich space.
Today, The B Hive serves over 120 families. We continue to enhance our programs—adding an indoor playground at our north site in 2024 and renovating our south site in 2025 with a second classroom and gym space.
What began in 2015 as a small playschool has become a thriving early learning community. As a lifelong Lacombe resident, I’m proud to give back by supporting local families, sports teams, and organizations. None of this would be possible without our community, our families, and our dedicated team of educators. Thank you for believing in us—we can’t wait to show you what’s next!
